Danny Kingad vs Yuya Wakamatusu at ONE: Conquest of Heroes in September 2018.

Danny Kingad is making his ONE Championship return with a rematch against Yuya Wakamatsu at ONE 165: Rodtang vs. Takeru on January 28 in Tokyo.

The two flyweights collide once again more than five years after their first meeting at ONE: Conquest of Heroes back in September 2018 in Jakarta where Kingad scored a unanimous decision win.

This time, the former Team Lakay member will be representing Lions Nation MMA.

“It’s been a while since we last fought and I’m excited to test my skills against Yuya,” said Kingad in Filipino.

Kingad is coming off a  unanimous decision win after ending Eko Roni Saputra’s seven-match streak at ONE Fight Night 7: Lineker vs. Andrade II in February

This rematch is part of the card featuring  ONE Flyweight Muay Thai champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon against Takeru Segawa in the main event.
