Joshua Pacio gets rematch vs Jarred Brooks in ONE 166: Qatar

MANILA, Philippines–Former champion Joshua Pacio and reigning strawweight king Jarred Brooks will headline ONE Championship’s promotional debut in Qatar on March 1 at Lusali Sports Arena.
Pacio gets another crack at Brooks, who beat him by unanimous decision in December of last year at Mall of Asia Arena.
The 27-year-old Pacio (21-4) has bounced back since losing the world title to Brooks (20-3) after turning back Mansur Malachiev on points last October in Bangkok, Thailand.

Brooks, 30, the former UFC veteran, hasn’t lost in his last eight fights, including 4-0 at ONE.
ONE 166: Qatar also features a clash between heavyweight contenders Amir Aliakbari of Iran and Arjan Bhullar of India.
Aliakbari is on a roll as of late since dropping his first two fights at ONE. He’s won three in a row—all of which by stoppage.
Qatar also hosts a flyweight submission grappling match between Yemeni-Saudi BJJ black belt Osamah Almarwai and former IBJJF World Champion Cleber Sousa of Brazil.
