PVL: Hideo Suzuki to ‘elevate’ Farm Fresh as consultant

MANILA, Philippines—Farm Fresh did not have the best All-Filipino Conference in the Premier Volleyball League but that may soon change.

In an attempt to improve after an abysmal conference, the Foxies have tapped Hideo Suzuki as team consultant.

Suzuki was known by PVL fans for his triumphant coaching of the Kurashiki Ablaze, who won the 2023 Invitational Conference against Creamline in the finals.

Team manager Kiara Cruz expressed her excitement with Suzuki’s signing, saying he will “undoubtedly elevate” the squad’s performance.

“We are thrilled to have Coach Hideo Suzuki join Farm Fresh as Team Consultant. His proven track record and coaching are assets that will undoubtedly elevate the team’s performance,” said Cruz.

“We look forward to a season of growth and success under his guidance.”

Farm Fresh finished in the lower part of the standings in the All-Filipino Conference with a lowly 2-9 record.

Suzuki is set to help veteran mentor Jerry Yee in the sidelines for the young Foxies squad.
