“Last January 9, 2024, I had a heart-to-heart conversation with coach Mark (Sangiao) and during our said meeting, I personally thank him for all the help that he extended me to become a better fighter and because of his guidance, I am where I am today. Moreover, I conveyed to him my desire to leave the team and after some discussions,” wrote Loman in a Facebook post.

The 28-year-old fighter clarified that his departure from the stable is by no means an end to his MMA career. After all, he is currently the No. 2-ranked bantamweight in ONE Championship.

“My departure with Team Lakay is not the end of my MMA career but is just another chapter of my MMA career.

“[I’ll] continue to fight under the ONE Championship promotion which has been very supportive of me since day one that I competed in such promotion.”

Currently, Loman holds a professional record of 17 wins, three losses and zero draws.

In ONE Championship, though, the fighter also known as “the Sniper” holds a convincing 3-1 win-loss card.
