Close to 750 players—confirming that the Mango Tee is the biggest member-guest tournament in the country—will be teeing it up next Monday in chase of golfing honor and attractive prizes at the tough-as-nails Alabang Country Club layout.
The 36th playing of the event has as usual drawn full support from the club’s membership, who patiently waited in line to be accommodated in the week-long tournament that feature some of the country’s finest and the regular players.
Four cars ranging from a classy from a Mercedes Benz and golf carts will be up for grabs as hole-in-one prizes even as the Sponsors’ tournament formally gets the Mango Tee off the ground this Monday with a stacked filled of 144 players taking part.

Committee chair Randy Ang confirmed that the golf course will as usual be set up to its toughest form, making the chase for the overall title and the other divisions as interesting as it can be.
Gen. Gregorio Catapang, Mayor Rufino Biazon, Rep. Jaime Fresnedi, Alabang board chair George Chua, president Bryan Cabral and Ang will hit the ceremonial drives in the Sponsor’s tournament.
Gransportivo Golf Carts worth P350,000 each will be staked for holes-in-one on Nos. 6 and 12 while P100,000 worth Srixon gift certificates will be up for grabs for aces on holes 8 and 15. All holes will play at least 175 yards each for all participants.
