MANILA, Philippines—Strong Group Athletics (SGA) is moving one step closer to creating its team for the upcoming Premier Volleyball League (PVL) season.
SGA said it is currently undergoing player selection for aspiring volleyball athletes looking to play for the team in its pro debut.
The post showed several volleyball aspirants with coach Jerry Yee watching from the sideline.
Yee, who is Farm Fresh’s coach, is also a consultant for SGA, the Foxies’ sister team.

There is currently no head coach announced for the new squad.
SGA will be taking the place of Gerflor for the PVL’s upcoming season after helping the Defenders with their overdue salaries.
Owner Frank Lao added SGA to the pool of PVL teams last month.
SGA was announced as the newest member of the country’s premier league just after the athletic group’s successful venture in basketball for the 33rd Dubai International Basketball Tournament.
In that Dubai tilt, SGA finished with a silver medal with NBA imports Dwight Howard, Andre Roberson and Andray Blatche at the forefront.
