MANILA, Philippines — Another Far Eastern University player is turning pro after Kiesha Bedonia signed with the PLDT High Speed Hitters less than two weeks before the 2024 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference, which opens on February 20.
PLDT on Friday welcomed the young outside spiker, who only played one UAAP season with the FEU Lady Tamaraws last year.
“Will she be a key player in our 2024 PVL campaign? You can BEDON it! Young, athletic, and BRAVE, former FEU Lady Tamaraw and outside hitter Kiesha Bedonia joins PLDT,” the High Speed Hitters wrote. “The High Speed Hitters are ready for you! LET’S GO, KIESHA!!!”

Bedonia bolstered the wing spiker rotation of the High Speed Hitters, joining Savannah Davison, Kianna Dy, Fiola Ceballos, Jules Samonte, and Jov Prado, who is recovering from an ACL injury.
Bedonia earned her first individual award with FEU in the V-League Collegiate Preseason tournament last year when the Lady Tamaraws settled for silver, losing to the College of Saint Benilde.
She was also part of the bronze medal team of FEU in the Shakey’s Super League preseason.
Bedonia became the latest Lady Tam to turn pro after Shiela Kiseo signed with PLDT and Max Juangco joined Akari last week.
