PVL: Capital1’s Jorelle Singh to make most of ‘second chance’
MANILA, Philippines — Jorelle Singh banks on her familiarity with coach Roger Gorayeb as she ushers in a new era of the Capital1 Solar Spikers in her Premier Volleyball League (PVL) comeback.
After missing the past two seasons, Singh found her way back into the pros after Gorayeb, who has been her long-time coach from National University to the volleyball clubs, gave her an opportunity at Capital1.

Although the last time she played in the pros for PLDT was when Gorayeb was still the coach in the 2021 PVL bubble, Singh said she didn’t have many adjustments because of her familiarity with the longtime volleyball tactician, who steered BaliPure to a title in 2017.

With a second chance to play in the pros, expect Singh to go all out in leading the newest PVL team in the All-Filipino Conference starting on February 20.
Singh admitted that the team has yet to unlock its full potential due to the short preparation but her teammates led by Heather Guino-o, Des Clemente, Ja Lana, Rovee Instrella, Arianne Layug, and Jel Quizon are easy to get along with.
