MANILA, Philippines—A few weeks before ONE Fight Night 19: Haggerty vs. Lobo, Lito Adiwang declared how he wanted to barge into the strawweight top five with a win over Danial Williams.
On Saturday at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, Adiwang may have done just that with a unanimous decision victory over Williams.
Adiwang went to the driver’s seat early after he dropped the Thai-Aussie fighter at the two-minute mark of the opening round.

Williams was unable to match the Filipino striker’s tremendous first round despite going toe-to-toe with him in the second frame.
Williams had a chance to even the fight in the final round only for Adiwang to contain him on the ground, ultimately granting him his third straight victory in the league.
Adiwang climbed further up in his division after improving to a professional record of 16 wins and five losses.
Williams, meanwhile, crashed to a 6-3 record.
