UST rallies past FEU to stay unbeaten in UAAP women’s volleyball
MANILA, Philippines–University of Santo Tomas rediscovered its deadly form just in time to snatch victory from near defeat at the expense of Far Eastern University, 22-25, 21-25, 25-23, 25-20, 15-7, on Sunday night at the UAAP Season 86 women’s volleyball.
Staring at a probable setback, the Tigresses rose from two sets down and survived another five-setter for the second time around to keep their unblemished record intact after four games.

UAAP: Jerry Yee suspension affected UE in loss to Adamson
MANILA, Philippines — University of the East assistant coach Obet Vital admitted that the Lady Warriors were affected by Jerry Yee’s suspension as they absorbed their third straight loss in the UAAP Season 86 women’s volleyball tournament.
In its first game without Yee, whose three-month UAAP suspension was announced just hours before the game against Adamson, UE struggled to find its groove as it yielded to Adamson. 19-25, 19-25, 28-26, 27-29, on Sunday at Mall of Asia Arena.

MANILA, Philippines — After being benched in the first three games, Barbie Jamili proved her worth in her debut for the Adamson Lady Falcons in the UAAP Season 86 women’s volleyball tournament.
Jamili made the most of her first start as she poured in a team-high 20 points to lead Adamson past University of the East, 25-19, 25-19, 26-28, 29-27, for their second win on Sunday at Mall of Asia Arena.

UE coach Jerry Yee blasts UAAP suspension, claims ‘no due process’
MANILA, Philippines — University of the East coach Jerry Yee rued the timing of his UAAP suspension after the letter was only coursed through the office of school president Zosimo Battad on Friday afternoon.
The UAAP suspended Yee for the remainder of the UAAP Season 86 women’s volleyball tournament.

MANILA, Philippines — Andrei Delicana and Jayjay Javelona carried Far Eastern University past gritty University of Santo Tomas, 28-26, 21-25, 21-25, 25-21, 15-12, to remain unbeaten in the UAAP Season 86 men’s volleyball tournament on Sunday at Mall of Asia Arena.
When UST tied the fifth set at 11-all, Delicana and Dryx Saavedra put FEU ahead followed by back-to-back errors from the Golden Spikers to prevail after a grueling two-hour and 30-minute match.

UAAP suspends coach Jerry Yee for rest of season; UE to appeal
MANILA, Philippines — The UAAP has suspended University of the East Lady Warriors coach Jerry Yee for the remainder of the Season 86 women’s volleyball tournament.
The league on Sunday announced its decision to suspend Yee following a complaint raised by a member school against him on account of conduct violative of the purposes of the UAAP — a platform for Member Universities to foster camaraderie and fair play.
