MANILA, Philippines—The string of Kai Sotto’s stellar games continued on Sunday in the Japan B.League.
After his Gilas Pilipinas stint in the 2025 Fiba Asia Cup Qualifiers’ first window, Sotto has been dominating for the Yokohama B-Corsairs as they zoomed past the Yokohama Brave Thunders, 84-73, at Kawasaki Todoroki Arena.
The promising big man registered a double-double with 21 points and 12 rebounds to go along with four assists built on a blistering 69.2 percent field goal shooting clip.

Jarrod Uthoff and Devin Oliver also helped Yokohama’s cause with 18 points a piece while Yuki Kawamura chipped in 11 in the victory.
Former PBA import Nick Fazekas’ 25-point outing was all for naught for the Brave Thunders. Rosco Allen tallied 19 points as well, but to no avail.
Meanwhile, Thirdy Ravena was unable to push San-En Neophoenix to a win as they faltered to the Ryukyu Golden Kings, 98-89, at Aichi Prefecture.

Ravena struggled to find his rhythm in the loss as he tallied just 12 points, six rebounds and two assists.
Also on the losing end was Dwight Ramos and Levanga Hokkaido as they succumbed to the Saga Balloons, 87-72.
Ramos served as an all-around cog for Levanga, finishing with eight points, five steals, four rebounds and three assists but he struggled on offense, sinking just four of his 14 shots from the field.

RJ Abarrientos and Shinshu weren’t all that lucky either, as they went down at the hands of Nagoya, 74-50.
Despite turning in a solid outing of 11 points, three rebounds, three assists and two steals, Abarrientos’ heroics weren’t enough to lift the Brave Warriors over the Fighting Eagles.
Ray Parks Jr., meanwhile, successfully powered Nagoya past Akita with a tremendous showing.
Parks Jr. top-scored for the Diamond Dolphins with 22 points and four steals while flaunting his scoring efficiency with an 80 percent shooting clip, missing just two of his 10 tries from the field.
