MOA Arena to host 2024 VNL Manila leg

MANILA, Philippines—The Volleyball Nations League’s (VNL) Manila leg will take place in familiar territory.

Like last year’s games, the VNL will be hosted once more at Mall of Asia Arena beginning on June 18.

The Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) confirmed the news on Facebook on Monday.

“Get ready for an exciting volleyball showdown as the 2024 Men’s VNL returns to the Philippines at the SM Mall of Asia Arena! Ticket information will be announced soon,” wrote Volleyball Philippines.

This year’s Manila leg will feature Japan, Brazil, Netherlands and Canada–squads which had already competed at MOA Arena last year.

Top-seeded USA, France, Iran and Germany, meanwhile, will join the four squads returning to Manila.

Missing in the pool of teams competing in this year’s VNL is Poland, which will not be in Manila for said week but in Slovenia for the Ljubljana leg.

The games will span from June 18 to 23 with six game days.
