“It’s fulfilling to get this win because most of our players are new,” said VNS coach Ralph Ocampo in Filipino. “We’ve been playing well in the past games. We just committed a lot of errors. Our team has the potential but we can’t close out during games.”
“I hope this win will boost our morale and lead us to a good run,” he added.
Roniey Adviento was also instrumental for VNS with nine points, while Kenneth Culabat and Louise Bartolome added eight points each.
Richmarc bowed out of the semifinal race with a 0-5 record. Bonjomar Castel and Kaiser Rosales scored seven points each
