MANILA, Philippines — Bea De Leon fulfilled a longtime dream on Thursday, sharing the floor with idol Michele Gumabao in front of 17,396 fans at Smart Araneta Coliseum.

De Leon starred with nine points to help Creamline beat her former team Choco Mucho, 25-17, 25-22, 25-19, in a crucial elimination round match in the PVL All-Filipino Conference.

MANILA, Philippines–With improvement the only thing left for them in the current All-Filipino Conference, Trisha Tubu and Farm Fresh snapped a five-game skid with a 25-10, 25-15, 25-22 victory over Strong Group in the Premier Volleyball League on Thursday.

Tubu scattered 13 points, 12 coming from attacks, to help the eliminated Foxies to their third win in 10 games in what could be their best finish, win-loss wise, since they joined the league in the Invitational Conference last year.

“Thankful na nakuha ulit namin yung win after ng consecutive losses namin sa mga past few games namin,” Tubu said. “Maganda ito na paghuhugutan namin para sa last game namin.” FULL STORY
