PBA: Beau Belga confident ‘tables will turn’
Beau Belga, Rain or Shine’s foremost weapon throughout the Philippine Cup, found himself firing blanks in the Elasto Painters’ 116-99 loss to TNT in the PBA Philippine Cup quarterfinals on Friday night.
The veteran big man was limited to just five points, finishing the contest at Smart Araneta Coliseum with a head-scratching 2-for-10 shooting.

“[The shots] just weren’t falling. Those were makeable,” he told reporters after a lengthy stay in the team’s dugout. “You have to credit the TNT defense, they have scouts who studied everything we do, and today they were successful.”
“We’re in a series, in a best-of-three, with the burden of being eliminated on Sunday. But we still have a chance,” he pointed out.

“Confidence is on TNT’s side, but if we win on Sunday, the tables will turn,” Belga added.
