MANILA, Philippines—San Miguel’s June Mar Fajardo is currently atop the leaderboards for the 2024 PBA Philippine Cup Best Player of the Conference award.

At the end of the all-Filipino conference’s tournament semifinals, the league-best seven-time MVP took the lead while also leading his squad to the PBA Finals.

Following a sweep of Rain or Shine in the semis, Fajardo amassed 43.12 statistical points for averaging 17.3 points, 14.5 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game.

The race is tight, though.

Fajardo overtook NLEX’s Robert Bolick, who held the throne atop the BPC race for the majority of the tournament.

The sharpshooting guard had 43.08 SPs after leading the conference in scoring with norms of 28.3 points with 5.2 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game.

Third in the race is Stephen Holt, who helped Terrafirma reach the quarterfinals for the first time after eight years.

Holt, also leading the Rookie of the Year conversation, posted 21.08 points, 8.1 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 2.4 steals per outing.

With Fajardo on pace to win the award, it’ll be his tenth BPC plum.
