UAAP cancels Saturday’s seniors games, releases revised first round schedule

/ 04:20 PM August 08, 2012

MANILA, Philippines — The UAAP cancelled Saturday’s men’s basketball double header and decided to reschedule the remainder of the games in the first round of eliminations.

The UAAP gave way to the victims of the severe flooding in Pasig City and other places who are using the Philsports Arena (formerly ULTRA), the supposed venue for the games, as their evacuation center.

The games originally scheduled last Wednesday will be played on Sunday instead at the Araneta Coliseum, as La Salle and Adamson, University of Santo Tomas and University of the East finally get their chance at each other at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., respectively.
