The men’s basketball competition of the Paris Olympics 2024 has reached the championship match.
The gold medal game is set: LeBron James and Team USA will defend their crown against home team France led by NBA rising superstar Victor Wembanyama on August 11.
The Americans, led by Steph Curry, eliminated Nikola Jokic and Serbia in a tense semifinal while Wembanyama and France ousted Fiba World Cup champion Germany in the other Final Four match.
Bercy Arena in Paris is now the venue of the final phase, where all matches from the quarterfinals until the medal match are knockouts.
