MANILA, Philippines—Team USA is out for redemption in the Paris Olympics 2024 men’s basketball tournament.
The Americans, the defending kings of Olympic basketball with 16 overall titles, have secured their place in the final of the tournament after ousting Serbia.
Team USA will face France in the gold medal game on August 11 (Manila time).
Team USA, which assembled what some called as “The Avengers” or the “Super-team of all super-teams,” looks to bounce back from a poor showing in last year’s global competition and go all the way in the Paris Summer Games.

Initially deemed as a complete lineup a few weeks back, Team USA had to pivot and make some changes with the departure of Los Angeles Clippers star Kawhi Leonard from the lineup.

Steve Kerr will call the shots with assistant coach Mark Few, Tyronn Lue and Erik Spoelstra.
