Final stretch for ranking points starts at Luisita
The chase for valuable points for the national match play finals resumes on Tuesday when the Luzon series of the ICTSI Junior PGT Match Championship makes its stop at tough Luisita Golf in Tarlac where over 60 players in four age groups see action.
Luisita will be the third-to-the-last tournament of the circuit built to have junior golfers display their games, and it couldn’t have picked a better layout to determine some of the finalists with the Robert Trent Jones, Jr.-designed gem still one of the toughest tests in the land.
Competition in the 8-9, 10-12, 13-15 and 16-18 age groups will be tight as the Luzon series will consider only the top four scores of each player, with only four players from each division advancing to the finals set in October at wind-swept The Country Club (TCC) in Laguna.

Only the leading player from each age category will move on to the finals.
Mount Malarayat Golf and Country Club in Lipa City and Sherwood Hills in Trece Martires in Cavite will be the venues of the last two legs, to be held in the first and second week of next month, respectively.
