PBA: Jordan Adams drops 50 piece as San Miguel beats Blackwater
Import Jordan Adams dropped 50 points as San Miguel Beer came back to frustrate an all-local Blackwater side, 128-108, Sunday to create a three-way share of the lead in Group B of the PBA Governors’ Cup at Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Adams made 17 of 29 shots, including six three-pointers, as the Beermen improved to 2-0 despite going into halftime trailing the Bossing, who opted to play without an import after letting go of the anemic Ricky Ledo.

The Bossing was import-less after Ledo performed below expectations in the previous two games. Coach Jeffrey Cariaso confirmed before the game that the team is in talks with Cameron Clark to be Ledo’s replacement. Clark played for NLEX in 2022 and San Miguel in 2023.
Despite being handicapped, Blackwater was able to lead for much of the first half and 10 early in the third at 63-56, before San Miguel went on a massive run.
