Lim blazes from downtown as San Beda smashes Letran 65-43
MANILA, Philippines — Carmelo Lim snared all of his points from beyond-the-arc as he led San Beda to a 65-43 smashing of Letran Thursday in the 88th NCAA seniors’ basketball tournament at the Arena in San Juan.
Lim came out 4-of-9 from the three-point land to end up with 12 points, but it was more of a collective effort for the Red Lions which boosted them back to the top of the standings at 7-2.
Newcomers Ola Adeogun and Art Dela Cruz scattered 10 points apiece for San Beda, which piled on to the lead over the undermanned Letran to as wide as 25 points.
