Young aces out to steal spotlight in EK karting

YOUNG aces will try to pull the rug from under the favorites over the short and narrow 750-meter Kart Track of Enchanted Kingdom this Sunday for the sixth and penultimate leg of the 2012 Philippine National Karting Series in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.

Fresh off his strong showing in the Philippine leg of the Asian Karting Open Championship, Arthur “AT” Tuason of TRS-Castrol Kids Racing Team and Eduardo “EJ” Coseteng are eyeing fitting repeats in the races.

Showing a marked improvement in the AKOC Philippine leg, Tuason emerged the Formula Cadet Expert champion to stay third overall with a total of 219 points.

A sweep of the last two legs could thwart the current top two—Dylan Arambulo and Tai Zulberti of CityKarts—who tote 287 and 277 points, respectively.
