CENTRO Escolar University and St. Scholastica’s College eye their second straight wins in basketball while defending champion Rizal Technological University kicks off its bid in volleyball as the 43rd Women’s National Collegiate Athletic Association (WNCAA) resumes this weekend with a three-day schedule.
St. Scholastica will take on Emilio Aguinaldo College in seniors basketball at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow at RTU gym in Mandaluyong while defending titlist CEU battles San Beda-Alabang at 1 p.m. Other seniors matches pit RTU against La Consolacion College Manila at 10 a.m. and Philippine Women’s University versus Miriam College at 2:30 p.m.
St. Scholastica nipped University of Asia and the Pacific, 64-63, and CEU downed PWU, 81-35, on opening day last Aug. 4. Inclement weather forced the cancellation of matches scheduled last weekend.
