Bryan Bagunas out for Win Streak’s season due to knee injury
Filipino import Bryan Bagunas is sitting out the upcoming Top Volleyball League season due to a knee injury he sustained while playing with Alas Pilipinas in August, a report said.

Article continues after this advertisementIn a report on Vol Sports, Lianzhuang Win Streak coach Lin Feng-Ching confirmed that Bagunas won’t be able to suit up for Win Streak but remains an “important member of the team.”
Win Streak signed up Kao Wei-Cheng to counter the absence of Bagunas, which the report said shook the team. Bagunas averaged more than 25 points last season.
Bagunas has been part of Win Streak as an import in the Taiwanese top-flight league since 2022. He has won two titles with the team and was also named MVP last season.

He hurt his left knee during Alas Pilipinas’ SEA V.League campaign in Manila and had to be stretchered off the court, but the extent of his injury and timetable for return was never disclosed.
When asked about Bagunas’ injury after the loss to Indonesia in August, national team coach Angiolino Frigoni declined to answer.
“No. In any case, injuries are private questions. I cannot say anything. Nobody can tell you in the newspapers, journalists, or others about private questions like health,” Frigoni said.
