MANILA, Philippines—After two years with Blackwater, Troy Rosario is officially walking away after reaching the end of his contract with the Bossing.

Rosario took to Instagram on Thursday to express his gratitude to the team that sheltered him after his stint with TNT.

“From the very beginning, you all welcomed me with open arms during one of the toughest times in my life, and for that, I will forever be thankful,” wrote Rosario.

“It wasn’t an easy road, and there were moments when I doubted myself, but you all never stopped believing in me. Even when I struggled to find my footing, you showed patience and support, and that made all the difference.”

Rosario was shipped to Blackwater back in 2022 in a three-team trade that somehow changed the complexion of the league.

Rosario was traded to Blackwater alongside Gab Banal for Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser while NLEX gave up Calvin Oftana and Raul Soyud to the Tropang Giga.

Since then, Rosario has become one of the anchors of the squad that has yet to find its footing.

“To the bosses and management, thank you for the trust you’ve placed in me and for providing me with the opportunity to represent this team. To the coaches, thank you for your relentless guidance, pushing me to grow as a player and as a person.”

“To my teammates, words can’t express how grateful I am for each of you. We’ve been through highs and lows together, and those memories will stay with me for the rest of my life.”

As of writing, Rosario has yet to announce his next move. He is now an unrestricted free agent free to explore any options given to him.
