The importance of staying fit for these strong moms
Strength and conditioning training are beneficial for anyone; however, we often find excuses for not doing it. Though, we met three strong mothers who, despite spending so much time caring for their families, still make a point to devote to getting physically fit.
Bianca Reinoso, a content creator, feels that the most effective training is the kind of training that you enjoy, so you would happily commit to it. “One that doesn’t feel like a chore, so be it a 30-minute walk or a morning strength training session—whatever it is as long as you love doing it, you (and your family) will reap the benefits,” says the mother of two. Along with her responsibilities in her household, Bianca is often seen at events with her group of co-mothers and co-content creators, which includes Jackie Go and Aliza Goco. These women serve as fitness inspirations since, just like Bianca, they make time to be active and healthy.
Not every day, moms like Aliza Goco is motivated to put on her training wear and head to the gym for strength and conditioning training. Some days are more difficult than others, but Aliza remains motivated by telling herself how much better she will feel after a training session. “There are days when I feel so sluggish, but I’ve never regretted a training…. And if I really can’t muster the energy, I’ll opt for something lighter—like a walk. Something is always better than nothing,” she shares. “Revisiting their goals can serve as a powerful reminder of what they truly want to achieve,” adds Kinetix Fitness Manager Iggy Baldovino when asked on how moms can keep themselves encouraged to be active. “With the guidance of their professional coaches, personal trainers, and nutritionists, busy mothers can plan their training schedules and ensure they have full recovery days that align with their fitness goals and work commitments,” he adds. Like Jackie Go, who see working out as her ‘me time,’ she appreciates collaborating with a coach since it reduces her worries while at the gym. “A coach is an ally… As a mom there are so many things we think about day in and day out and a training program shouldn’t be one of them. I strongly suggest getting a coach, especially if you’re starting, so you can have proper form (when you lift), avoid injury, and stay accountable not just in the gym but also how you fuel your body and how you recover,” Jackie says.

“I share this all the time that the reason why I train is because I want to be there for my kids. Functional fitness made me reach a lot of fitness goals I never knew I could reach,” shares Bianca. Fitness has always been part of her life and if she didn’t find her way into fitness again when she became a mom, she said that she would’ve struggled physically and mentally. As for Aliza, strength training has given her the endurance for her daily activities, especially in her household. “From carrying my younger daughter to lifting groceries, it all feels so much easier now,” she shares. And for someone like Jackie who has been progressing with her fitness journey, her advice to mothers who would like to begin a fitness routine is to start slow and start short; find the kind of exercise that you see yourself doing again and again. “One of my favorite quotes is ‘progress over perfection’. You don’t need to go all out and change your entire lifestyle right away. Ease into working out so you don’t feel burnt out. Once you like a training, you’ll find it easier to do it often, longer, and to progress even though it’s challenging,” she says.
Strength and conditioning training that Kinetix Lab offers will not only boost your physical strength but will also enhance your overall health and well-being. “This improvement allows strong moms to function more efficiently and manage stress more effectively,” shares Coach Iggy. By strengthening your body and mind, you’ll be better equipped to handle the challenges and joys of motherhood with confidence and grace.
