MANILA, Philippines—Carl Tamayo made another good impression in the Korean Basketball League in Changwon’s win over Jeonju on Monday.
The LG Sakers, backed by their new Filipino import, defeated the KCC Egis, 89-84.
Tamayo followed up his impressive performance for Changwon in their win over the Daegu KOGAS Pegasus on Saturday, 70-67, where the University of the Philippines product posted eight points and seven rebounds.
On Monday, though, Tamayo showed so much more for the LG Sakers.

The former Ryukyu Golden King played an all-around game to the tune of 16 points, five rebounds and four assists, a steal and a block in only 24 minutes of play to push Changwon to a 2-0 card for the young season.
Tamayo also shot an efficient 58.3 percent shooting clip from the field in the dub.

Assem Marei dominated anew with another double-double of 22 points and 10 rebounds with four assists to match for the LG Sakers. Yu Gi-Sang also helped the cause after posting 14 points to his name.
Lee Seung Hyun’s 25-point explosion wasn’t enough for the KCC Egis as Jeonju dropped to a 1-1 card.
Former NBA player Deonte Burton also posted a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds but to no avail.
