Pauline del Rosario and Princess Superal spearhead a crack Philippine contingent seeing action in the NT$5-million (almost P9 million) 2024 Party Golfers Ladies Open, a leg on the LPGA of Taiwan Tour, slated Nov. 13 to 15.
The 54-hole championship will take place at the Lily Golf and Country Club in Hsinchu County, where the 15-strong Ladies Philippine Golf Tour (LPGT) team faces a formidable international field coming from the host country and Taiwan.
Daniella Uy, Florence Bisera, Marvi Monsalve, Mafy Singson, Chanelle Avaricio, Chihiro Ikeda, Mikha Fortuna, Harmie Constantino, Laurea and Lia Duque, and amateur sisters Mona and Lisa Sarines are the other carrying the LPGT flag in the event together with South Korean campaigner Jiwon Lee.
Defending champion Ling Jie Chen, Thai standout PK Kongkraphan, Japan’s Yuna Arakawa, and local favorites like TLPGA Order of Merit No. 2 Yu Ju Chen are the international bets to watch.
