Standard Insurance, Escalante join hands for TRS Cup

STANDARD Insurance Carpro will be in the spotlight today when the much-anticipated TRS Cup kicks off at the Batangas Racing Circuit.

The car insurance company teamed up with young champion Basti Escalante in its quest for the overall crown.

Escalante, who’s turning 15 this year, made a big name in the field of karting as a Cadet champion and proved his promising racing talents in clinching the Mini-ROK crown the following year.

Moving up to circuit racing last year, Escalante showed equal intensity and exemplary skills as he wound up a strong fifth place overall against 11 other ace drivers in the field.
