MANILA, Philippines — EJ Laure has found a new home with the Nxled Chameleons in the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference.

The Chameleons on Monday afternoon welcomed the 27-year-old Laure, hoping to bolster their young roster.

“We’re so thrilled to have you on board and can’t wait to see you light up this fresh start! We’re rooting for you on your return to the PVL court, EJ!” the team wrote.

Laure will be a game-time decision for the Chameleons’ match against her former team, Chery Tiggo on Tuesday at Philsports Arena.

After eight years with the Chery Tiggo franchise — starting with Foton in the defunct Philippine Superliga in 2016, Laure will be representing a new team.

The former University of Santo Tomas star is out to help Chiara Permentilla, who emerged as the go-to scorer of Nxled.

Nxled lost its first two games both in four sets to PLDT and ZUS Coffee.
