MANILA, Philippines — Sisi Rondina remained satisfied with the Choco Mucho Flying Titans’ fight despite losing to their sister team and defending champion Creamline in their 17th duel in the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference.
Rondina and the Flying Titans displayed strong composure in the third set to extend the game but they still yielded to the Cool Smashers, 22-25, 20-25, 32-30, 20-25, on Tuesday night in front of 9,551 fans at Smart Araneta Coliseum.

“Of course, I still commend our team because we didn’t give up easily. We fought hard. As coach said earlier, he’s thankful because he sees a lot of improvements, even if it’s gradual. Personally, I’m happy because I’m slowly getting back to form,” said Rondina.
“Creamline really worked for it, and it was evident in how they secured the win. We just held on earlier and gave it our all.”
The former All-Filipino MVP, who led Choco Mucho with 24 points and 11 excellent receptions, admitted that her team decode the system and depth of Creamline, which they last beat in the first All-Filipino Conference semifinals last April 30.
“We know how Creamline plays and how they manage their game. Of course, we’re aware of our weaknesses and shortcomings, and we fully admit that we had a lot of lapses,” said Rondina.
Rondina also lauded her Alas Pilipinas teammate Jema Galanza, who haunted her team with 24 points on top of 17 excellent receptions and nine digs.

“That’s Jema for you, of course, that’s Jema. I know how she plays, and I’ve also been teammates with her in Alas. Her composure is incredible, and that’s something I truly admire about her because she knows how to lead a team so well. She’s so calm,” said Rondina.
Choco Mucho lost back-to-back games, sliding to a 2-3 record with one more game remaining for the year against Farm Fresh on Thursday next week at Philsports Arena.
Rondina stays optimistic that the Flying Titans will figure out the right mix before the year 2024 ends.
“We’ll keep working on it; the ball is round. There are so many teams improving and getting stronger these days. As for us, we’ll focus on fixing what needs to be addressed and improving our personal skills where we need to put in the work,” said Rondina.
