B.League: Ray Parks stars in Osaka win over Kiefer Ravena, Yokohama
MANILA, Philippines—Ray Parks Jr. answered the call for Osaka Evessa in the squad’s 89-84 win over the Yokohama B-Corsairs in the Japan B.League at Yokohama International Pool on Wednesday.
Parks Jr. exploded for 18 points in 30 minutes to push Evessa to an 11-8 record, helping Volodymyr Gerun, who scored 23 points, in the win.

On the other end, fellow Filipino import Kiefer Ravena finished with nine points and four assists for Yokahama in the loss, missing six of his nine shots from the field.
Meanwhile, over at Koshigaya City Gymnasium, Kai Sotto’s efforts for the Alphas were put to waste as they dropped to the Chiba Jets, 84-82.
Article continues after this advertisementStill, Sotto balled out with a near double-double of 17 points and eight rebounds in 34 minutes of action.
The Gilas big, however, struggled from the field with a 31.3 percent shooting clip, making just five of his 16 tries. He made up for it with four assists and two steals in the loss that gave Koshigaya a 6-13 card.

Dwight Ramos also absorbed a loss as his Levanga Hokkaido fell to the Gunma Crane Thunders, 74-64, at Openhouse Arena OTA.
Ramos played sparingly in just 10 minutes, managing to drop just three points, a rebound and a block for the 6-13 Levanga squad.
Gilas went 0-for-3 on Wednesday as AJ Edu also felt defeat in Nagasaki Velca’s 88-82 loss at the hands of the Hiroshima Dragonflies, 88-82, at Hiroshima Sun Plaza Hall.
Velca dropped to a 7-12 card but not without Edu dropping five points and six rebounds in over 23 minutes of action.
