B.League: Dwight Ramos shines anew in Levanga win

MANILA, Philippines—Dwight Ramos turned in another stellar performance in Levanga Hokkaido’s most recent win in the Japan B.League.

Levanga routed the Ibaraki Robots, 78-60, at Hokkai Kita-Yale, behind its Filipino import’s efforts on Wednesday.

Ramos scattered 19 points with two rebounds and two assists to help Hokkaido improve to 9-13 for the season.

Ray Parks Jr. also came away with a win as Osaka Evessa beat the Saga Ballooners, 77-68, at Ookini Arena Maishima.

Parks Jr. made the most out of his 23 minutes of action with 12 points, three assists, two rebounds and a steal to match.

Parks Jr.’s efforts were instrumental in Osaka’s improvement to a 12-10 record.

Matthew Wright, on the other hand, had a good game but the Kawasaki Brave Thunders fell short, 95-84, at the hands of the Nagoya Diamond Dolphins at Dolphins Arena.

Wright dropped 21 points and four assists but it wasn’t enough as the Brave Thunders crashed to a 4-18 card.

AJ Edu struggled but the Nagasaki Velca still managed to come out on top against the Shimane Susanoo Magic, 77-73, at Happiness Arena.

Edu finished with just three points and three rebounds but Mark Smith’s 24-piece was more than enough to power Velca to 10-12.

Geo Chiu, meanwhile, couldn’t help the Ehime Orange Vikings as they succumbed to the Kumamoto Volters, 108-82, at Matsuyama Community Center.
