MANILA, Philippines — Dwight Ramos waxed hot with 21 points as the Levanga Hokkaido escaped Akita Northern Happinets, 70-66, in the 2024-25 B.League Season on Wednesday in a road game at CNA Arena.

Ramos shot five triples and tallied three rebounds, three assists, two steals, and two blocks to lead his team’s bounce back from a 78-72 loss to Alvark Tokyo on Sunday.

The Levanga captain backstopped Ryan Kriener, who had 22 points, 10 rebounds, and four blocks.

Hokkaido won two of its last three games to improve to a 12-21 record.

Ray Parks Jr. also sustained his fine form as Osaka Evessa slipped past Ryukyu Golden Kings, 97-95, at Okinawa Arena.

Parks delivered 18 points, four rebounds, two assists, and two steals as Osaka improved to a 17-16 avenging its 102-94 loss to Nagoya last Sunday.

Volodymyr Gerun led Evessa with 15 points and 13 rebounds, while Tatsuya Suzuki had 14 points, six assists, and four rebounds.

Meanwhile, Kiefer Ravena and Yokohama B-Corsairs beat Matthew Wright’s Kawasaki Brave Thunders, 74-63.

Both Filipino guards had limited productions but Ravena, who finished with four points, two rebounds, and an assist, helped his team rise to a 13-20 record.

AJ Edu chipped in five points, two blocks, one rebound, and an assist as Nagasaki Velca snapped a five-game losing streak with a 101-89 rout of Shiga Lakes to improve to a 14-19 card.
