Wong came off the bench, tossing 11 excellent sets and scoring four points to lead Choco Mucho to a 25-21, 19-25, 25-23, 25-15 win over Akari on Saturday night at Philsports Arena.

With the Flying Titans forcing a triple tie at 6-3 with PLDT and Cignal, the star setter likes how their bond became stronger after a slow start in the season.

“We had a great start and controlled the game, but in the second set, our receiving was a bit off. By the third set, we were able to adjust to what Akari was doing,” said coach Dante Alinsunurin.

“And it continued until the fourth set, so I’m very thankful for how we played. Every time we faced a problem, we were able to make the necessary adjustments and execute them well,” he added.
