MANILA—Former World champions Jethro Dionisio and Jag Lejano will spearhead the 11th Demetrio “Bolo” Tuason Cup on July 15 to 17 at the Armscor shooting range in Marikina.
More than 300 local and foreign shooters are expected to participate in the annual event, which is also serves as part of Team Philippines’ preparation for the International Practical Shooting Confederation (IPSC) World Shoot XVI in Rhodes Hellas, Greece.
The tournament, held in honor of the Armscor chair and president, will also serve as the NCR championship and will have competitions in five divisions.
The event is sanctioned as a Level III match by both the International Practical Shooting Confederation and Philippine Practical Shooting Association.
“We’re very confident that we’ll do even better this year,” said Gina Marie Angangco, EVP for corporate planning and business development of Armscor, at the weekly PSA Forum at Shakey’s UN Avenue yesterday.
