Sandugo regains V-League No. 1 spot
SANDUGO-San Sebastian relied on its Thai imports to get back in fighting form as the Lady Stags downed Far Eastern University, 25-23, 25-19, 23-25, 25-15, to reclaim solo lead in the Shakey’s V-League Open Tuesday at Ninoy Aquino Stadium.
Jeng Bualee dropped 25 points and Utaiwan Kaensing scored 16 to power the Lady Stags to their seventh victory in eight games.
Last Sunday, the Lady Stags saw their unbeaten run come to an end against defending champion Philippine Army, which still failed to wrest the top spot following its upset loss to newcomer Cagayan Valley, 23-25, 25-22, 25-18, 25-17, last Tuesday.

The Lady Eagles had a chance to complete the semifinal cast, but dropped a four-set decision to the Lady Sailors, 25-21, 19-25, 27-25, 25-23, last Tuesday.
