MANILA, Philippines — Michele Gumabao celebrated a unique-themed bridal shower with the Creamline Cool Smashers.

Gumabao on Monday shared photos of her bachelorette party, which had an unusual funeral theme.

The PVL Invitational Conference MVP bid farewell to her single life as she is set to tie the knot with longtime partner Aldo Panlilio.

Gumabao, clad in a white wedding dress, shared moments with her family, teammates, and friends, who all wore black.

“Best funeral ever,” the 32-year-old Gumabao wrote on Instagram. “I love you girls til my next life.”

The star opposite spiker was surprised by a dance number from Cool Smashers Tots Carlos, Pangs Panaga, and Lorie Bernardo.

Gumabao and Panlilio, a PBA strength and conditioning coach, announced their engagement August last year.

MVPs Alyssa Valdez and Jema Galanza and the whole Cool Smashers also attended Gumabao’s bridal shower.

Creamline, which finished its preliminary round as the No.1 seed with a 10-1 record, eyes a quarterfinal ticket against No. 12 Nxled in their qualifying game of the All-Filipino Conference on Thursday at Philsports Arena.
