KBL: SJ Belangel tows Daegu back on track

MANILA, Philippines — SJ Belangel halted the Daegu KOGAS Pegasus’ three-game skid after outlasting the Anyang JKJ Red Boosters, 88-76, in the Korean Basketball League (KBL) on Wednesday.
Belangel dropped 18 points to go with three assists and two rebounds for Daegu, which improved to a 23-21 record.

Andrew Nicholson poured in 31 points, six rebounds, one steal, and a block to bring back the Pegasus’ winning ways.
Youssopha Ndoye was also instrumental with 13 points and seven rebounds.
Belangel bounced back from his four-point outing in their 89-69 loss to No.1 seed Seoul SK Knights.
Anyang fell to a 17-27 record despite Deonte Burton’s all-around game with 31 points, 12 rebounds, and five assists.
