MANILA, Philippines—TNT big man Poy Erram, once again, made a scene during the ongoing PBA Commissioner’s Cup Finals.

In TNT’s 73-66 loss to Ginebra in Game 5 at Araneta Coliseum on Sunday, Erram was seen throwing a fit during a timeout in the second half.

The more surprising part? He figured in a verbal spat with no less than his head coach Chot Reyes.

“I just got fed up with all the antics,” said Reyes straightforwardly when asked about Erram. as he was on his way out of the Big Dome.

“I let him have a piece of my mind. I told him that if I can’t talk some sense into him, why doesn’t he be the one to coach?” he explained.

Reyes called time when Ginebra cut TNT’s lead from 10 to four, 47-43, with seven minutes left in the third quarter.

As seen in the TV broadcast and by the people behind the Tropang Giga’s bench, Erram didn’t appreciate Reyes’ words and started swatting his own towel while the coach walked away.

Multiple TNT swingmen tried pacifying the erratic big man as Erram continued to yell.

Erram finished with four points, six rebounds, a steal and a block  for TNT in the loss. He exited the venue immediately with a towel over his head, denying opportunities for interviews or photo-ops.

Earlier in the series, Erram was also involved in an incident when he threw a fit in the third quarter of their Game 2 loss where the Tropang Giga left the locker room with a huge dent on the wall.

While Erram was never identified as the culprit behind the damage to the locker room, he was seen kicking some of TNT’s equipment as he headed to the dugout.

In the semifinals, Erram was also involved with an altercation with his teammate Glenn Khobuntin.

Reyes and Erram will try to bury the hatchet on Wednesday when the Tropang Giga battle to force a Game 7 against the crowd favorites.
