MANILA, Philippines—Gilas Pilipinas 3×3 men’s team is set to begin its qualifying campaign in the 2025 Fiba 3×3 Asia Cup on Wednesday.

Composed of Jeff Manday, Anton Jose Eusebio, JJ Manlangit and Joseph Sedurifa, the Gilas men will go through the qualifying B draw with  Korea, India and Macau.

The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas posted on Tuesday that the Gilas 3×3 squad is headed to Singapore for the continental meet set for March 26 to 30.

Gilas’ first match is against Macau at 12:10 pm on Wednesday before it squares off against Korea at 7:20 pm. It then faces India on Thursday at 12:35 pm.

Should the Philippines advance to the main draw, it will be grouped in Pool B alongside China and Chinese Taipei.

Heading into the Singapore meet, the Gilas squad ranked tenth with 360,992 ranking points.

Mongolia enters the Asia Cup with the highest rank after garnering 3,181,820 points. China (2,771,950) and Japan (1,648,998) sit a few ranks below Mongolia, respectively, as the juggernauts of the competition.

Meanwhile, the Gilas Pilipinas 3×3 women’s team composed of Mikka Cacho, Camille Clarin, Jhazmin Joson and Kaye Pingol opens its bid on March 29.
