Ramos’ heroics pushed Hokkaido to an 18-29 record, sufficient for the fifth seed in the B.League Eastern conference.
Over at Happiness Arena, fellow Gilas young gun AJ Edu notched a win with his Nagasaki Velca zooming past the Utsonomiya Brex, 77-65.
Edu played with a solid seven-point and nine-rebound outing to help Velca rise to 22-25 for the season.

Ray Parks Jr., however, was unsuccessful as his Osaka Evessa succumbed to the Shimane Susanoo Magic, 95-73, at Tottori Prefectural Gymnasium.
Parks Jr. finished with 13 points, two assists and a rebound but it wasn’t enough for Evessa as they fell to a 23-24 rut in the standings.
Roosevelt Adams was barely a factor in the Yamagata Wyverns’ 75-67 loss at the hands of the Aomori Watts at Yamagata Prefectural Sports Park.
The former Terrafirma guard only finished with two points and four rebounds in the defeat that saw Yamagata crash to 20-34 in the standings.
