NBA: Bucks come back from down 24 to trip Timberwolves

Giannis Antetokounmpo recorded a triple-double with 23 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists, and the Milwaukee Bucks stormed back from a 24-point deficit in the fourth quarter to post a 110-103 win over the visiting Minnesota Timberwolves in the NBA on Tuesday night.
Kevin Porter Jr. added 21 points off the bench for Milwaukee (45-34), which won its fifth game in a row. Bobby Portis scored 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in his return from a 25-game suspension for violating the NBA’s anti-drug policy.

Anthony Edwards scored 25 points on 10-for-27 shooting to lead Minnesota (46-33). Donte DiVincenzo scored 24 points off the bench and Naz Reid chipped in 17 off the bench for the Timberwolves, whose five-game winning streak ended.
The Bucks outscored the Timberwolves 40-13 in the fourth quarter.

Milwaukee trailed 95-71 after DiVincenzo made a 3-pointer with 10:09 remaining.
Gary Trent Jr. then converted a four-point play with a 3-pointer and a free throw on the next possession to cut the deficit to 20 points. The sequence sparked an incredible 23-0 run for the Bucks, which ended with a driving layup by Porter that brought Milwaukee within 95-94 with 5:07 to play.

Porter made a dunk to give the Bucks a 99-98 lead with 3:03 remaining. That proved to be the start of an 8-0 run for the Bucks, who pulled ahead 105-98 on an alley-oop dunk by Antetokounmpo with 1:47 left.
Minnesota never got closer than within four points the rest of the way.
The Timberwolves entered the fourth quarter with a 90-70 lead, scoring the final six points in the third after Portis made a 3-pointer to cut the Bucks’ deficit to 84-70 with 1:07 remaining in the third quarter.
Edwards scored all six points, hitting a 3-pointer with 50.1 seconds left and another with 29.1 seconds to go.
Minnesota led 56-45 at the half.
The Timberwolves led by as many as 14 points during the first half. Jaden McDaniels made a fadeaway jump shot to give Minnesota a 54-40 lead with 1:22 to go before the break. –Field Level Media
