Kianna Dy savored her first start in 641 days, helping PLDT win its first assignment in the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) Champions League.
In her first start since July 20, 2023, Dy scored four points as PLDT made quick work of the Queensland Pirates of Australia, 25-19, 25-12, 25-12, on Sunday at Philsports Arena.

By the looks of it, the battleground in the AVC Women’s Champions League could be totally intimidating for an international meet newbie such as the PLDT High Speed Hitters.
On Sunday, Savi Davison found out that it has become much less daunting.
The Filipino-Canadian outside hitter led the High Speed Hitters in breaking the ice by crushing Australia’s Queensland Pirates, 25-19, 25-12, 25-12, to gain an inside track in the quarterfinals of the meet at the Philsports Arena.

Savi Davison dazzled in her first game on the international stage, powering PLDT’s romp of Queensland Pirates, 25-19, 25-12, 25-12, in the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) Champions League on Sunday at Philsports Arena.
Davison drilled 14 points all on attacks to put the High Speed Hitters on the verge of the quarterfinals with an early 1-0 lead in Pool D.

Erica Staunton relished her connection with fellow imports Ana Kudryashova of Russia and Nastia Kolomoyets of Kazakhstan to give Creamline a winning debut in the (AVC) Champions League on Sunday at Philsports Arena.
Staunton, who led Creamline to a historic grand slam in the 2024 PVL season, picked up where she left off, pouring in 17 points built on 13 kills, three aces, and a block to win their first Pool A game with a 29-27, 25-20, 25-19 sweep of Jordan’s Al Naser Club.

Alyssa Valdez is honored to represent the country again, through the Creamline Cool Smashers in the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) Champions League, in front of an energetic home crowd.
Valdez proved she can still shine on the international stage as she delivered 10 points off seven spikes, two aces, and a block to beat Jordan’s Al Naser Club, 29-27, 25-20, 25-19, in Pool A on Easter Sunday at Philsports Arena.

Kaohsiung Taipower dominated Hong Kong’s Hip Hing, 25-10, 25-16, 25-14, in the Asian Volleybal Confederation (AVC) Champions League opener on Sunday at Philsports Arena in Pasig.
The nine-time Taiwan’s Top Volleyball League champion took an early 1-0 lead in Pool B before facing PVL All-Filipino champion Petro Gazz on Monday at 4 p.m.

In their bid to represent the host country with pride, PVL teams Petro Gazz, Creamline, and PLDT tapped world-class imports for the 2025 Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) Champions League from April 20 to April 27 at Philsports Arena.
Amid the grueling 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference, the three Philippine clubs made sure to sign the best foreign players possible to reinforce their respective rosters in the club meet.

Wilma Salas is set to reinforce PLDT in the 2025 AVC Women’s Champions League from April 20 to 27 at Philsports Arena.
The former Petro Gazz Cuban import is embarking on a new journey with the PLDT High Speed Hitters in the country’s upcoming hosting of the Asian club tilt.
The 34-year-old wing spiker is making her third trip to Manila after two Reinforced Conference stints in the PVL with Petro Gazz.

After a failed “five-peat” bid in the PVL All-Filipino Conference, Creamline looks to get back to its winning ways in the AVC Champions League.
The Cool Smashers have added more firepower too with a couple of reinforcements joining American import Erica Staunton in their AVC campaign.
On Tuesday, Creamline announced on X that Anastassiya Kolomoyets of Kazakhstan and Anastasiya Kudryashova of Russia will bolster Creamline in its stint in the annual continental club tournament.

Petro Gazz is bringing a formidable wing spiker rotation in the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) Champions League, tapping American outside hitter Gia Day as its reinforcement.
The newly-crowned PVL All-Filipino Conference champion on Maundy Thursday unveiled its import for the Asian club tournament from April 20 to 27 at Philsports Arena.
The 6-foot-2 Day is teaming up with two-time MVP Brooke Van Sickle and veteran wingers Myla Pablo, Jonah Sabete, and Aiza Maizo-Pontillas.
