TAIPEI—The Philippines’ Angelo Que kept the clubhouse lead with his first round seven-under-par 65 as the second round of the Yeangder Tournament Players Championship (TPC) was abandoned Friday due to inclement weather.

The three-time Asian Tour winner could not tee off as thunderstorms had initially forced play to be suspended at 9:33 a.m.

As the heavy rains continued to belt down at the Linkou International Golf and Country Club, tournaments officials were left with no choice but to call off play for the second round.
