/ 01:46 AM September 22, 2012

Samsung Electronics Philippines Corp. and the University Athletic Association of the Philippines recently launched a project whereby the top electronics firm would help the league’s eight member-schools give back to their respective chosen cause through the UAAP Assists Program.

Under the scheme, students, alumni, supporters and even UAAP fans can support their school in championing its cause.

From Aug. 24 to Oct. 14, customers who purchase select Samsung products can earn points for their chosen UAAP member-school and use the points to donate to its cause.

Each Samsung product has corresponding give-back points. The points have an equivalent peso value which will then be converted at the end of the promo.
