ACE cocker Arnold Mendoza ruled the Sept. 18 leg of the National Cockers Alliance derby series with a perfect 5 points at Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.
Already the winner of the maiden leg, Mendoza bested by half a point Ramon Gamboa, Mayor Boyet Joson, and his partnership with Newton Isaac.
Mendoza will shoot for a third victory on Tuesday in the derby to be hosted by Mayor Elan Nagaño, Tommy Chua, Osang Dela Cruz, Boyet Joson, the Batangas Group, Jun Diamante and Ray Tambis.
The hosts have invited top cockers from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao to compete in the derby against NCA members.
