BACK-TO-BACK Asian Karting Open Formula Cadet Expert champion Arthur “AT” Tuason seeks to conquer a bigger challenge next year as he plans to compete in the Mini-ROK or move up to the ROK Clubman division.

The 12-year-old La Salle student, a third-generation karter of a renowned champion racing clan in the country, pulled off a sweep in the last Asian Karting race and again delivered the title for the TRS-Castrol Racing Kids Team.

Showing his immense potential, Tuason led teammate Wils Casequin to a 1-3 finish in the pre-finals and barely escaped by just 0.115 of a second to capture the win.

Tuason pulled the rug from under Dylan Arambulo, whom he overtook using some risky moves at the curve in the final three laps.

Casequin bagged third place honors in the Formula Cadet Expert class for his best finish of the season while Flynn Jackes wound up fifth in the Mini-ROK division.

“AT really surprised us with his more competitive performance and pulled off brave moves that paid off well to prove it is not over until it’s over,” said multi-awarded race car driver and TRS president JP Tuason, who with brother Mike, supervises the rigid training and preparations of the TRS-Castrol Racing Kids Team.
