Sharks rip Tigers, tab No. 1 spot
MANILA—Three-peat seeking Manila finished its twice-postponed match against Alabang with a 13-6 rout yesterday to claim the top spot at the end of the Baseball Philippines Series 8 eliminations at the Rizal ball park.
The victory gave the Sharks the luxury of meeting the last qualifier in the semifinals which will be decided today when Taguig plays Dumaguete at Alabang Country Club.
If Taguig wins today, it would take the No. 3 spot over Batangas on account of a higher batting average.
